The modernized sight column is a backup ship-borne guidance, target tracking and target designation system. While using the column the operator can aim at a target both using the sight and precise image on the monitor. An image is not subject to oscillation and is independent of ship motion. The modernized sight column (device A1-M) is a component part of the ship-borne fire control system Bagira-M.
